Petrov broke is hand in wednesdays match, but should be allowed play with a protective cast.
Weather will be very hot, Porto will be used to this,
Celtic have had a gruelling run in to the championship while Porto had the Portuguese Championship sown up b4 the Semi-Finals.

Still though, i reckon with the estimated 70,000 Celtic fans travelling, (40,000 without tickets) I reckon that the bhoys can repeat the achievments of the 1967 Lisbon Lions and bring home the glory.

Logic says Porto will win, but I really think we will rise to the game, like we have done in Europe all season

As has already been suggested logic would seem to suggest that Porto should be to strong for the Celts but after watching them on wednesday night I really think the unity and drive that O Neill has brought to the team can win out over the skill of Porto!

I reckon they'll lose due to what i've seen of them and Porto. As i said i'm not an ardent fan of scottish football, mainly because of the dogmatism involved in it.

My point is, that I was, out of curiosity, wondering what age Caesar_Bojangle was as the post seemed to be the work of a very immature person, in my opinion.

Celtic will probly win 3-2. It would be good for Glaswegian football if they did and the Gers win the league, keep both sets of supporters relatively happy.
Personally, I couldn't give a monkeys if they win or not.

I'd like to see Celtic win, but anything I have seen of Porto this season has been pretty impressive. I can see them beating Celtic by a couple of goals.

Have no idea who is gonna win - but I reckon it could be somethin similar to Ireland v Italy(USA 94) as far as crowd support is concerned. I was nearly going but the money is ridiculous, a friend who is still going has paid 850euro for just his match ticket.

The bookies are backing Porto, but Celtic will hopefully edge it by a goal.

I'd like Porto to win, as I cant stand all the Celtic/Irish stuff, you'd nearly think the team had some players who cared about that sort of thing!

I think Porto will win easily they have a good team with the likes of Derlei banging in goals for fun and Costinha in midfield i can't see Celtic keeping a clean sheet.

The only way I can see Celtic winning is if the 3 centre midfielders can play a holding role and soak up most of the pressure and then hope that Larsson and his partner up front work some magic.
